In some cases, including rating type questions or assessment, it is possible that the percentage reported doesn’t add up to 100% or exceeds 100%. In either case, keep in mind the following:
Round Up
The percentage of responses may not always add up to 100%. With rounding you can adjust/control the position of the decimal point when customizing your charts or response data.
Multiple Answers
In the case of Multi Select questions, the number of responses may exceed the number of participants, which can cause the response percentage to exceed 100%. Clarify this in your report notes to avoid confusion.
