How to Build a Custom Dashboard
Custom Dashboards empower understanding by showcasing all of your most important data in a single view, streamlining analysis and enhancing collaboration.
Create your first Custom Dashboard by following the steps below.
- Click on Dashboards in the top bar on your screen.
- Choose Custom Dashboard from the dropdown menu.
- Click on Create Dashboard.
- Enter the desired title and description in the dialogue box, then click Create. These details can be edited later.
- Select a widget of your choice and drag it onto the canvas. For more information on widgets, click here.
- By default, the Data Source for the widgets is set to Project. Once the widget is added, the dropdown for selecting the project will appear.
- Choose the desired project and the display parameters. You can select either Questions, Metadata, or Directory associated with the chosen project to display the widget data.
- Utilize the widget settings for customization. You can make these changes now or revisit later. Learn more about each widget type in the Widget section.
- Click Save, and the widget will display data on the canvas.
- Repeat the process to add more widgets. See the image below for an example of a Dashboard with various widget types and sizes.
- View only responses received by using the time period filter in the top left corner. By default, All Time is selected.
- Use the filter icon in the top right corner to further refine your view based on various attributes. For more details on filters, click here.
- Explore additional controls under the three dots in the top right corner under Dashboard Options.

Widget sizes range from a minimum of 2×3 to a maximum of 12×12, with the default widget size being 6×3. You can resize widgets by clicking and dragging the lower-right corner to expand or shrink them.
