From humble beginnings, Right At School has grown rapidly to a nationwide provider of before and after-school programs serving over in 19 states serving 197 districts and over 1,400 schools. Their mission is to create enriching experiences that combine fun and learning, or "disguised learning," as Senior Customer Operations Manager Sara Thompson describes it.
However, rapid expansion came with operational challenges, especially in collecting and leveraging feedback.
The organization relied on SurveyMonkey to conduct Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys, but the platform had significant limitations. "Segmenting data by district and school was a nightmare,” Thompson explained. “It would result in pages and pages of surveys that were impossible to manage.”
Additionally, the lack of an auto-translate feature meant surveys had to be manually translated into multiple languages, which was both time-intensive and costly.
This inefficiency delayed the ability to act on feedback, leaving gaps in their efforts to align with the needs of families, schools, and staff.
In 2023, Right At School partnered with Sogolytics to address these challenges and create a more efficient feedback ecosystem. With Sogolytics, the team quickly realized the benefits of a platform designed for dynamic reporting and inclusive feedback collection.
“When we started looking for a new solution, Sogolytics really was the obvious choice,” shared Thompson.
A key improvement was the ability to segment data at both the district and school levels. "The drill-down feature has been a game-changer," said Thompson. "It allows us to identify trends at the district level while pinpointing specific needs at individual schools." This granularity ensured that every school received tailored insights, fostering more targeted improvement efforts.
The in-platform translation offered by Sogolytics eliminated the need for manual translations, drastically reducing time and costs. "There were so many features that we didn’t even know we needed until we had them," Thompson admitted. The platform also introduced automated PowerPoint reports, allowing the team to generate polished presentations for stakeholders effortlessly.
Integration with Salesforce added another layer of functionality, enabling seamless data syncing across platforms. “The partnership with Sogolytics has been incredible,” said Thompson. “Their team has gone above and beyond to ensure we’re not just using the platform effectively but continuously finding ways to improve.”

"Before Sogolytics, creating reports for over 1,400 schools was painstaking. Now, it’s automated and beautiful," Thompson said. These reports, customized for districts and schools, include data on satisfaction levels and open-ended feedback, fostering transparency and collaboration with stakeholders.
The platform has also empowered the organization to compare feedback from families and school clients side-by-side. "It’s incredible to see how aligned—or misaligned—expectations can be," Thompson noted. "This insight helps us prioritize improvements where they’re needed most."
Moreover, Sogolytics’ tools have allowed Right At School to create a culture of action. Families and schools now see that their feedback leads to meaningful changes, building trust across the board. "We’ve learned that trust comes from acting on feedback,” Thompson explained. “Even if we can’t address everything, being transparent about what we can do makes all the difference."
From an organizational perspective, Right At School has also begun utilizing Sogolytics to support multiple teams and goals, including identifying testimonials to support marketing efforts and collecting feedback from colleagues and candidates to enhance employee experience.
