For over 30 years, Insidesource has been a workplace innovator and premier global furniture service provider, delivering solutions that bring brand and culture to life. However, as the company expanded to 9 global locations, they faced challenges in scaling effectively while staying true to their vision of unleashing human and business potential.

A key business requirement was adopting technologies to become more data-driven. Insidesource lacked centralized feedback mechanisms to connect employees across regions, making it difficult to gather actionable insights and assess alignment with organizational goals. Their previous platform, Qualtrics, proved costly and inefficient, limiting its usability and adoption. At the same time, fostering a thriving feedback culture within the organization became essential to ensuring employee voices were heard and acted upon.

In 2019, Insidesource adopted Sogolytics to meet their needs for centralized feedback and data-driven decision-making. With Sogolytics, the company streamlined its feedback processes, enabling seamless data collection and segmentation by region, role, and other critical factors. This allowed Insidesource to gain a clearer picture of employee and client experiences across their expanding organization.

Sogolytics’ robust tools such as text analysis, engagement reporting, and dynamic links enhanced the efficiency of feedback analysis. The platform’s branding and PowerPoint export features enabled the team to deliver professional, on-brand reports to executive leadership. Anonymous survey options were particularly effective in fostering a culture of open communication, where employees felt safe sharing honest feedback. 

"We use Sogolytics for everything from customer satisfaction surveys to assessing vendor performance in areas like diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability. We also measure employee satisfaction on topics ranging from kitchen snacks to all-company meetings,” Bollentini explained. “This year, we’re building an employee engagement survey to assess metrics year over year."

The flexibility of the Sogolytics platform has allowed the Insidesource team to utilize it for many purposes, as well as to evolve and adjust questions and projects as the team continually evaluates successes and improvement opportunities.
