Feature Focus: Custom Directories

If you love Contact Lists, you’re going to really love Custom Directories.

Contact Lists are great for distributing email or SMS, filling in Mail Merge fields in invitations, and pre-populating known data in survey fields.

If your list is likely to change, maybe you’ve already started using Dynamic Contact Lists or SFTP to inform Automated Distribution and Recurring Delivery. Cool, right?

In our 32.0 release, we’re beginning the roll-out of a completely reimagined system of managing Contacts and Activities. A sneak peek?

1. Create one or more Custom Directories to store and manage details like employees’ departments and managers or customers’ purchased products and preferred locations.
2. Publish through Directories using complete lists or filtered sub-lists and pull relevant contact details into reports without having to add those fields within Design.
3. Collect feedback as a follow-up to Activities like customer purchases or support interactions, then match up responses to Contacts in your Directories to learn more about how experiences vary across your organization.
